How Do I Qualify?

Are you a potential participant in the AcuFocus Corneal Inlay research study?

You may have an opportunity to participate in the corneal inlay near vision clinical research study, if the following statements describe you.

• I am between the ages of 45 and 60.
• I have trouble seeing near objects clearly such as newspapers, books, menus, mobile telephones, and computer screens.
• I only need reading glasses. I can see distance objects fine.
• I have never had an eye surgery.
• I am in good physical health.
• Wearing reading glasses is inconvenient for me.
• I can keep multiple follow-up appointments for three years.

Your next step is to complete a confidential medical questionnaire. If you meet the medical criteria and have a strong interest in becoming a volunteer participant, you will be scheduled for a comprehensive research study exam for further testing.
