The AcuFocus Corneal Inlay may cause visual symptoms for some study participants. However, these symptoms are treatable and likely to resolve over time. Dry eye, glare and halos are the most common symptoms.

Burning, scratchy/gritty feeling in the eye. If your vision improves a few minutes after using artificial tears, you are likely to have dry eye. This is true even if your eye does not feel dry.

The scene appears to be in a fog or behind a veil.

Circular cloud around a light; usually the same color as the light.
Halos can vary in size.
Prior to your procedure, the staff will discuss all the risks and benefits with you.
